My name is Amreet Bansi and I am a second year Fashion Retail Management student studying at Birmingham City University. I am very interested in applying for a work placement within your buying department this year, starting in July. The date for July would start from the 6th to the 10th of August. However, if this is not possible, I am very flexible over the summer period, whereby all months from July to September could also be considered.   Throughout my two years at university I have been able to take the opportunity to gain efficient work experience through working backstage upon various fashion placements and shows such as the Clothes Show Live Birmingham and from a work placement that I have recently just completed at GAP Birmingham, working alongside the head visual merchandiser. I was also given the opportunity to work backstage with Selfridges Birmingham on a fundraising event which recently took place.  I look forward to hearing from you.
